MCP stands for Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT securely connect to outside services.
airpay's MCP Server gives those assistants direct access to your payment gateway, so they can check settlements, process refunds, generate QR codes and more, all through plain-language commands.

Yes. airpay is an RBI-approved Payment Aggregator and maintains PCI DSS compliance. The MCP Server authenticates with your existing merchant credentials (Merchant ID and Secret Key). No AI assistant stores your payment data — it sends a request, gets a response, and that's the end of it.

The MCP Server is live on ChatGPT Apps and compatible with Claude (Anthropic), Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code with Copilot, and any client that supports the Model Context Protocol. More are being added.
